Mary Farmer

As Vice President of Operations at Greenway Insurance, Mary brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience and a passion for helping both clients and team members succeed. Her career began on the captive agency side of the industry, where she quickly discovered that her greatest fulfillment came from helping clients understand their coverage and make informed decisions about protecting what matters most. For the past 20 years, Mary has worked in leadership roles within independent agencies, including more than a decade with Greenway Insurance.

Throughout her career, Mary has been a strong advocate for client education and service excellence. She believes that when clients truly understand their insurance coverage, they gain the confidence and peace of mind needed to make the best decisions for themselves, their families, and their businesses. Known for her thoroughness, responsiveness, and approachable leadership style, Mary is committed to delivering the same level of care and support she would expect as a client herself.

As a leader, Mary focuses on building strong teams, creating efficient processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and service. Her goal is to ensure every client interaction reflects Greenway’s commitment to professionalism, expertise, and personalized care.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with the Austin Wildlife Rescue Center, and traveling. She has developed a passion for exploring new places and looks forward to discovering even more of the world in the years ahead.
