Greenway Insurance was founded in Houston with a simple idea: Texas families and businesses deserved an insurance agency that worked for them, not for a single carrier. We opened with a handful of carrier partnerships, one office, and a commitment to actually picking up the phone when a client called.

Two decades later, that commitment hasn’t changed, but a lot has. We’ve grown to four offices, expanded into Southern California, and added more than 40 national and regional carrier partners. We’ve placed coverage on first homes and multi-million-dollar businesses, on rental portfolios and classic cars, on condos and contractors’ tool trucks. We’ve been named to the Inc. 5000 five times.

What hasn’t changed: we still build the agency one relationship at a time. Most of our growth comes from referrals, a client introduces a friend, an agent earns a reputation, a book of business sticks for fifteen years. That’s the right way to measure an insurance agency. It’s also why we still answer the phone.
